There are a few methods that you can use to safely remove enhancements using Acetone or a similar product.

1. To soak off acrylic, saturate a cotton ball with Acetone and place it on the nail,

wrapping the finger in aluminium foil to allow body heat to activate the removal.

2. Put hot water in two large glass bowls and place smaller glass bowls into the water.

Pour the removal product into the smaller glass bowls,

making sure that the hot water does not spill into the remover.

3. Another great method is to use heated craft sand in place of the water.

The sand can be warmed in a microwave and used many times before replacing.
The sand also retains the heat better than water.
